A TRULY INSPIRATIONAL FILM - SATYAGRAHA

Satyagraha is a movie which depicts the reality of life today...the corruption prevailing in our offices, the stench coming from most of the political class who get elected just for sucking the money out of the system, thus weakening the economy of the Nation.
The movie portrays the games politicians play to stay in power, the nexus between the Opposition and the Ruling party, the unholy politician bureaucratic nexus to siphon off Govt funds meant for relief measures like midday meals, PDS and other projects....
A film very close to my heart and the measures and will of the people to change the system.....The elections in States are being announced followed by the General Elections - we should try and participate in the democratic process as much as possible...get into the system for fighting it within and if you can't do that, then at least try your best not to elect candidates with dubious criminal records....elect only honest people...
Once again the performances are overshadowed by the superlative performance of Amitabh Bachchan - truly overpowering.....and set the adrenalin running in the blood.....the performance of Ajay Devgan who ultimately listens to the voice of his conscience while flinging away his riches so that the common shareholders of his company don't suffer....the performance of Kareena as the responsible journalist who follows certain ethics in life and will not compromise on them is noteworthy and a role model for the present lot of journos who keep changing tracks every now and then....
Arjun Rampal, Amrita Rao and Manoj Bajpayee all have given superb performances.....and of course the stamp of Prakash Jha is clearly there...
The movie has a message and it inspires youth to come forward and CHANGE the system....Go ahead and watch it - you'll come back inspired writhing for a change, for doing some good for your NATION.....So Happy Watching.......the song JANTA ROCKS and Raghupati Raghav is just OUTSTANDING....CHEERS....
